Ready to discover a whole world of new interests? Become a Young Explorer, and let the Virginia Discovery Museum be your guide! These two-hour drop-off sessions for ages 5 and older take place after school and challenge children to become strong, creative thinkers as they immerse themselves in specific topics and explore them in greater detail through experiential learning projects and challenges. The forecast is calling for an electric atmosphere and a heavy downpour of fun! Build your own weather instruments and put them to the test as we learn all about weather and conduct hands-on experiments.

Pack your compass, Young Explorers! Chart a course through the Museum as we practice navigation skills and create a map of the exhibits, complete a scavenger hunt, and learn coding with our robotic companion Cubetto.
