Get ready for the beginning of a tradition – DISCOVEROO – a family music festival brought to you by the Virginia Discovery Museum!

DISCOVEROO will feature local bands popular with adult audiences who will be performing a set expressly for children and families. This year's exciting lineup is Shannon Worrell, 6 Day Bender, In Technicolor and Jim Waive & the Young Divorcees. There will also be entertainment by Steven Levine the Stilt Walker, Partner Juggling Theatricks, and Freckles 'n Friends.

Tickets are $5 per person or $20 for a family pass (for up to 5 people) and will be available for purchase in advance at the Virginia Discovery Museum or at the door.

Join us on Sunday May 3, 2009 at the Charlottesville Pavilion for a great musical event. We will also be celebrating the beginning of the 20th year the Virginia Discovery Museum has been Downtown and completion of the brick work on the Mall.
