Things to Explore
- Foreign Language Shelf: Find books in Dari, Dutch, French, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swahili.
- Magnet Board & Manipulatives: Practice vowels and consonants, letter sounds, and spelling with blocks, cards, and games.
Reading Room
Read a story, discuss new words and practice them in conversation, and share thoughts and ideas about the books you’ve read. Please note that this room does contain two iPads to help children improve digital literacy through age-appropriate language, reading, and counting apps.
Parking: First hour free at Market Street and Water Street garages. Visitors who have set up a Metropolis App account may scan the QR code at VDM for a second free Hour.
