Tot Boxes

< Back to Programs

As VDM remains closed for general admission due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our staff has transitioned our educational programs to a virtual format, including our brand new monthly Tot Box program for children ages 2 to 4 and their caregivers. Join Ms. Megan, a certified children’s librarian and education programming specialist, on Wednesday mornings over the course of four weeks as we combine live, weekly virtual interaction with a curated monthly box of fun, age-appropriate art, play, and learning supplies and instructions that engage the senses, encourage curiosity and exploration, and inspire conversation and bonding between caregiver and child. Toddlers experience enormous change in their thinking, learning, and social and emotional experiences that help them explore and make sense of their new world. Their interactions with family and others around them help shape their personality and ways of thinking. Sensory experiences, imaginative play, process art, and positive social interactions help children develop pre-literacy, motor, and socioemotional skills. Monthly Tot Boxes are available for both contactless pickup and FREE delivery.
